This is the part that kind of baffles me. He's been on the show for like 3 years now and in 3 years neither he went back to delete this stupid shit, nor did the CW look into his posting history. At this point you'd think all major studios would have some sort of PR social media division who's sole job is to go through all their clients shit and make sure it won't come back to bite them in the ass.

That being said, his tweets are terrible and I'm sure they're indicative to him being terrible so I'm sure him being fired isn't a bad thing at all. But for real, the Flash has been a total shit show these last few seasons

Looking at some of his more recent posts (3 years ago) he does seem to be more “woke” about issues including white privilege and defending against homophobic slurs. So it’s possible he has changed since those tweets 8 years ago or he could be faking it. Fact is for a show that is so preachy about people changing and giving people second, third, or fourth chances, they decide to do the opposite of that.

Season has been pretty eh~ so far, which is good by CW standards I guess. How they wrote off Elongated man and got him off the cast was pretty funny though

It's all Barry giving a heartfelt speech to save the day every episode, also something about his wife now trying to be more involved than before for some reason, also Vibe is back btw, ignore everything he said seasons prior about quitting.

Yeah they pretty much scrapped his entire "I don't want to be a meta anymore" side story which was from last season too IIRC lol. Show is definitely lacking from a serious consistent Wells/Tom Cavanagh character
