He actually voiced the character in the old JLU animated series, though I doubt it'll be a similar portrayal. JLU Trickster was a sort of tragic character, a normal guy who only went on crime sprees when he was off his meds.

The villain roster of The CW’s “The Flash” continues to grow as PUNKD Images has learned that former “The Walking Dead” star Emily Kinney has joined the cast as Bug-Eyed Bandit.

Originally appearing as an Atom villain, Bug-Eyed Bandit was created by Gardner Fox and Gil Kane in 1966 where he controlled insects to do his bidding. The character’s name in the source material was Bertram Larvan, but Kinney’s character in the series will be named Brie Larvan.

time traveling. im guessing wells/reverse flash killed future barry and his mother after an almost even fight, then set about turning past barry allen into the flash as some sort of weird supervillain/spartan glorious battle thing and wants to make young barry better than future barry for an even better fight? at least that's the vibe i'm getting.
