So, there are two versions of Wells. That we know of.

There is the year 2500 Wells, who went back in time and killed Barry's Mom. And there is present day Wells. I'm curious as to what happens with Present day Wells that leads to Future Wells trying to kill Barry's Mom.

Also, if Wells is all Evil like he revealed to Cisco, then did he help Ronny? That's still bugging me. He slowed down whatever plan he had to help Ronny. He got nothing out of that. Barry didn't run faster because of it. The only good that came from it was to have Grodd make sweet love to General Fuckhead.

Everybody's confusion over this episode is blowing my mind. Such as people not understanding Flash running along side himself. Future Wells is present day wells.

Yeah, it seemed pretty straightforward when I watched the episode. Then I read the responses here and my brain tried to eat itself.

How is it hard? Wells came from 2500 time.. Tried to kill Barry .. Future Barry stopped him but lost his mother.. Wells speed force might be erratic after the travel and has been stuck here for the last 15 years.. We saw him struggle with his powers in a previous episode.. So either it's finicky or he can't generate a high speed for a long duration
