Wasn't the leg trap thing supposed to stop his speed entirely or was it just his legs? Either way, it didn't work, but on E-2 wasn't Jay being the Flash and saving people for like a year? Maybe a good Jay Flash somehow breached E-2 and couldn't figure out how to get back (Similar to Thawne) so he stayed and Zoom figured out how to steal speed at that point and that's who he has in the iron mask?

Thawne knew who Jay was so he was probably from his timeline, but then again maybe not cuz he was there to kill Barry's Flash....

When Jay's Helm came through the black hole or w/e, he looked at it and said something like "Its time I leave". Hinting that he knew of Jay's Flash but not that he actually knew him

One more thing that irked me...when he was questioned about creating an after image Zoom says "I'm not that fast"....so both Barry and Reverse were able to do it thus making Barry already faster? I'll chalk it up to just a bad line which led into a worse explanation with the other Jay but....grrrr

That's how I took the "Even I'm not that fast line" - basically it would be extremely implausible for Zoom, regardless of how fast he is, to convincingly stage a murder of his own speed mirage - you're talking about taking the costume off/on (at least the arm portion) and putting his hand through himself, all while neither image actually vibrate like we've seen past speed mirages do.

Definitely agree with the show losing steam, too. Such a long buildup to obtaining the tech to be fast enough to beat Zoom, and the payoff lasts for maybe 4 minutes before Barry's ENTIRE power is gone? The fuck, guys.

Also, anyone else find it hilarious that cardboard cutouts of a sociopath's dead parents were enough to rattle Zoom to the point of being beaten/distracted?

Honestly I thought they'd just go the route of it was too much power, and Zoom would explode or something. Was such a poor choice to give the maniac even more power, and give away all ur power so u won't even be able to stop him.

As for the man in the iron mask, I assumed it was his Solomon's daddy, but that wouldn't be a shock to team Flash. So I'ma have to go with Leonardo Dicaprio.

Also, I know they're speedsters, but why did their fight end up in racing....? At least in previous episodes they'd fight whilst running.


Never read the Flash comics, how many plotholes are in there? After reading up on him, he seems like he's stupidly over-powered.

Oliver would have had Wells rig something up to cripple Jay like how he chopped off Merlyn's hand. Now granted he's dumb and wouldn't just finish the job, but he's not naive enough to just hand a weapon over to the enemy when that enemy no longer has the bargaining chip.

At this point, it doesn't really matter if they have some plan involving the loss of Barry's speed because A) as multiple people have pointed out, Barry could've just beaten Zoom as soon as they got Wally back and B) as we saw, as soon as Zoom got the speed, he could've killed literally the entire cast before the plan went into effect. If the plan involved some action on their part there's no reason to hold it back with Zoom's hand around Barry's neck.

Whatever the outcome, this episode was garbage and I think once this season is over I'm done with this show.

Of course not...I mean Oliver would never hide a weapon that powered his enemy in a glass case or anything then reveal that his partner has the missing piece to said weapon. No no, Oliver is so much smarter than that.

To be fair, they probably thought their lair was the safest place in the city, and moreover it was Diggle who revealed there was a missing piece to the rat that Oliver suspected.

And in this hypothetical, after Darhk released his hostage, Oliver would just try shoot him instead of turning over the missing piece. Just letting Jay have the vial of speed force right then was inexplicable.
