Probably banning the spammers from bot spamming in general chat.
What do people think of the scripts and stuff to rapidly change out entire gearsets? No longer than to use an ability, really
I dunno, I would like it if that were discouraged
omg where do i get me one of them![]()
Diablo and cheating go together like peanut butter and jelly. Hell, D2s currency used to be based around it.
With there being a RMAH, there is no way Blizzard lets anything slide. If you want to lose all your shit a few months from now, go for it.
Good, hope you're right Welt. That's exactly what I want. Playing HC mode with another set of gear just sounds dumb. At most, I keep like a tankier/faster set of 2 or 3 pieces, but I click and put them on like a normal legit player.
I wonder if Blizz can tell when people like kripp click 35 times in 0.6 seconds.
They can easily see if an outside app is affecting the game. People will use these things to switch to a full magic find setup when elites/bosses are at 1% instead of doing it the legit way, which a lot of times is impossible without cheating. Of course, it will be a ban-able offense.
Spellcast for D3?! Would be cool if we had a bigger backpack.
Ban for everything at this point, IMO. When you're talking (eventual) real money for in-game items, you've gotta crack down on everything that can provide an advantage that isn't packaged in the game itself.
Much as I'd be tempted to use MF swap script, I wouldn't be dumb enough to have it all done in half a second. Fucking morons need to learn that if you're gonna cheat, don't make it so obvious. But yeah, I'm more inclined for zero tolerance since I'm at the phase of my DH's life where progress basically boils down to dumb luck, either in finding drops to wear or drops to sell. Neither of which is in abundance, and exploits can easily lessen the value of the not-so-good drops that may've still sold prior to exploitations going mainstream.
So, between duping and destructible gold nerfs, I'm still hoping Blizz rethinks their plans on the severity of repair costs nerfs. I'd certainly prefer not to be farming A1 forever just to offset repair costs while hoping to build funds to upgrade at the same time even if A1 can drop A4 shit post-1.03. And in before Mr. Hardcore shoving his philosophies on softies needing harsh penalties for failure.
smoke screen aggro drops, dh would have a huge advantage.
or, people would die when a mob is at 1%, res, swap gear, kill
That's a lot of bullshit to go through just to get some MF. Especially when mobs regen when unaggroed as well. Nobody would do that regularly.
They should do it just like it was in D2 LoD, you can have two different sets of gear and toggle between them. I don't know why they didn't implement that in D3.
Why even put MF/GF in the game then?
