Jury Duty in the US is weird. Neither of my parents have ever been called (Nor has anyone else I know), but I've been called twice during one "on call" period. Both times got cancelled.

I have been called once. My mom six times in 25 years living in the county. My brother who hasn't lived in the county since high school 11 years ago? Twice. My father, who has obviously lived in the same place as my mom for those same 25 years? Zero.

I have been called 3 times, each time to Superior court or "gun court" as it is called by officers.

I usually get tossed pretty quickly, unless its a medical malpractice case.

I hate sites that auto-filter swear words into some stupid shit. Either just @$%(* them or ***** them, but don't make it so when I say "fucker" it turns into "bumper" or some dumb crap.

The thing about the pony filter was that it was just for one day, and not constant. I hate sites that censor. It's the internet, people swear, get over it.

Word filters could be used for nobler purposes such as lulz (as was the pony filter) or the promotion of literacy (replace all instances of " u " or " ur " by "I'm an unsufferable moron", for instance*), it's not their fault they're used by hordes of dullards to censor "naughty words".

Recent lulzy event: I tried to use the word "queer" on a forum. Not to attack a presumed homosexual but in a blurb made up to conjure a Lovecraftian atmosphere as a humourous/poetic way to make a point - filtered.
