Equip haste cap gets in the way of increased haste values actually doing anything if you had a semi decent tp setup.
That is however a good point on the fast cast since it might even be increased from the nq or at the very least it opens a spot for some pdt/mdt/eva gear while casting.

I might be mistaken, but I think it lets you swap Blitz for Tyrant and makes a 5-hit more viable (though I'm not sure a 492 polearm is quite there yet).

Phorcys legs have more haste. Not sure what the FC is, but Blood Legs give 5% FC and movement speed.

Oh yeah <_< Phorcys would make the 5-hit reasonable without Houyi Gorget, which is even better.

A 5 hit is very easy with phorcys junk. I would probably use the Homam +1 body for jumps and maybe TP depending on what I was doing. I still use Homam legs in my Utsu macro on THF so I would upgrade those I guess but I rarely ever /nin anymore. I can't think of any use for me for the other 8 pieces.

    If FC was 10% or something, would rock. Doubt it though since the Increases crit damage on the hands is only 2% which is pathetic considering DRG and WAR AF3 has a +10% crit damage on it. Nares Head/Anhur Robe have 10% FC, why can't Homam+1 legs ; ;

Body is imo best TP body for DRG with 492 polearm.

The drops are really poor when considering NNI gear, why bother to add far weaker gear even if it's easier to obtain... still might aswell spend your time going for the better gear (inb4 you can do both... but still why bother....)

I think the following set is ideal for DRG TP with Herya's -

    Herya's/Pole Grip/ /Thew
    Phorcys/Ganesha/Brutal/Ghillie+1
    AF3+2/Brego/Rajas/Tyrants
    Athelling/Goading/Phorcys/AF3+2

This puts you at 26% haste and 20.7TP/hit as /SAM (18.7 as /war)
Putting Stp on the Polearm itself was a nice touch from SE ^^.

A 5hit as /war seems a bit far off unless dropping several % haste (ogier hands/Rose strap etc)

EDIT: The following is capped haste and 20.4stp/hit as /WAR (I overlooked Murzim, and was focusing on Enif >.<)

    Herya's/Rose Strap/ /Hagneia
    Phorcys/Ganeshas/Brutal/Ghillie +1
    Murzim/Ogier/Rajas/Tyrants
    Athelling/Goading/Phorcys/AF3+2

Because for some people Neo Nyzul gear may be extremely difficult to obtain, it's simply offering weaker alterative for easier content, they aren't going to at this point make something that's comparable to Neo Nyzul gear because it would render the event irrelevent.

Works both ways, though - Neo Nyzul makes new events irrelevant if the gear added to them is not as good, even if it is easier to obtain. And honestly, with the combination of farming coins or gil to buy coins, the random chance on getting the specific part of Omega/Ultima you want, and the three day minimum retry timer, I wouldn't even consider it that much easier to obtain.

Also, unrelated question for people who have done Arch-Ultima... I read on JP wiki that Citadel Siege has a long warm-up time and they were thinking it could possibly be avoided by running out of range as Ultima starts charging it up. Anyone have any idea if that sounds feasible? Seems silly that you unavoidably (not including somehow getting an avatar or pet to take the hit) need to sacrifice people three times in the fight.

Fair enough, but I do know alot of people who won't touch Neo Nyzul since the climb feels so impossible without the use of tools so I can understand the need for some alteratives.

It's stunnable, just need to stun before it shows in log, aka soon as red lines appear. SCH/BLM embrava+haste can get recast down to 9sec on stun, entirely possible to stun every tp move from legion mobs.

Im pretty sure i read that the mob is immune to stun a couple times? Unless it was adjusted at some point

Pretty sure people have been stunning Legion with Shock Squall? I think only a small handful of mobs there are totally immune to Stun. Death Prophet is avoidable if you know it's coming btw. I'm not sure if Legion Mantis does the same thing where he uses Death Prophet after another specific TP move, but if he does, you can start running after the first TP move and you'll outrange DP every time, plus it's only frontal. Always works on Kaggen if necessary (Kaggen always uses Preying Posture before DP). That's why I was wondering, assuming this has considerable charge up time, if you can outrange this. Sounds like it's used at specific HP (49, 39, 29), so you'll always know it's coming.

I've definitely landed stuns on all 3 Kaggen types in legion. Legion kaggens don't have a preying posture warmup either far as I can tell.

Sometimes out of range due to kiting, but is still times with a lot of deaths in a row.

Everything but the turtles and the 2nd tier Khimaira can be stunned, not sure on the botulus-rex mob since haven't engaged it yet.

We just did Temenos Basement 2, and were referring to the map on BGWiki, but we didn't start where it lists the start location. Have people confirmed getting that start location? If so then maybe the side you start is random.

Basically if you look at the map, there are 2 portal rooms on the south of the map. BGWiki lists the start as the right one, but we started on the left. Everything else matches the information listed.

I also started on the left tonight. There was no obvious Aern leader, but some random info:
The Temenos Ghrah dropped ~8 coins each.
The Temenos Aerns always dropped 1 and reraised very infrequently.
The Temenos Euhvis always dropped 2, and you can still do the pull/deagro trick that I described earlier because they only link and don't agro. Might as well kill them for the coins if you have the people, though.

The Euvhi and Aern both 2-houred twice, I think. We got no equipment drops, just coins.

Also, in discussing with other people attending, the ghrah train seemed to enter the first room from the west, which implies counter-clockwise movement (the page says clockwise). It's possible that if you start on the left, the ghrahs also move the opposite direction.
