Also I pulled out my armageddon for shits and giggles and tried a wildfire and it did about 1/3 of what I would expect with the partial set I had with me so I'm hazarding it has little to no mdt and all it's magic dmg lowering is either mdt or forced resist or sdt or whatever you guys term it

Had the option of entering Odin's Chamber II with only 3 feathers the other night. Didn't try to enter as we were going for v1, but it was a possible selection

Did a 7 man attempt on Arch-Ultima today. Time out at 7% with PLDx2 (both Almace, one Aegis) WHMx2 SMNx2 DRK. Would recommend WHM+RDM minimum for support. Thunderstorm was doing between 12-1.4k with a full MAB build, and double Odin at the start took off around 15~17%, so Summoner damage is very efficient. Would be doable with 7 with better MP management, and without both PLDs dying at one point (unblocked damage due to terror).

A note about Catastrophic Malfunction: It's not limited to casting -ja spells after. We had it cast both Comet and Water V after (both before 50%).

Edit: Going through the logs, it only cast comet, Stone V, Water V and Blizzard V up till after the second Citadel Siege (39%) where it used ja spells instead. It didn't use Malfunction between 49 and 39%, so it may start using ja spells at 50% for all I know.

Most people clearing it don't need it since they clear it with 5-10 minutes left and even so, PD is more valuable than Zan is; should have no problem pushing it to ~20% or less from 50% before PD wears. Our last 3 Odin v2s have used a total of 1 Geirrothr because it dies so fast under 50% that it doesn't even have a chance to use it.

We did Arch-Ultima tonight with 5 Summoners and a Bard. Only one of us (as far as I know) had capped skill. It was not very difficult, really. At most, one of us has potential experience soloing things on summoner.

Something that may have been said before but I didn't process! He started instant-casting Meteor immediately after Catastrophic Malfunction.

When do you guys start PD?

51%. Ideally your PLD has hate so you can pull your DDs back and buff up. If it sanges, the BRD needs to be fast running in and putting songs back up.

This was confirmed awhile ago; only the person entering the chamber needs the entrance qualifications; literally no one else needs anything yet for some reason I still caught a group doing T3 Einherjar on Monday for "wins" and they refused to listen to us telling them that wasn't necessary.

One other thing that I at least didn't know before entering. You only lose your Tier 1 Limbus KI when you buy a Tier 2 Chip. So if you do the new Metal Chip zone once with an alliance, you should be able to enter 18 Tier 2 fights (at the cost of 150*18 ABCs) before you have to do another Tier 1.

Ya, until you do a whole lot of Arch-Omega or Arch-Ultima, the tier 1s are effectively only for their specific accessories after you do them once.

Tempted, but if not Shoha, I may do Last Stand since I have Resolution for hardcore melee and need a ranged WS. Stardiver will forever be a 5, but we'll see if I remerit Reqiescat once I rack up the merits though.

That said, I'm guessing BLU/MNK? The only trouble I've had with Arch-Omega was the first 25% and that seems resolved via Requiescat.

I thought that weapon gave 10% WS DMG during rain weather, but BG wiki has otherwise. Not as crappy as thought!
