I've heard season 1 is an abortion and the second season is like an entirely new show. Ofc it's still help a rando every once in a while, but a lot of shit has changed between the characters, although nothing too major (Not like Sam is now enemies with michael or anything). Jesse really shakes shit up.

Every USA show follows that formula tyven. Suits is at least great cause the character themselves work great together, and they didn't make lead female love interest ugly like in Burn Notice, while Michael helps and sees gorgeous women in literally every episode. And he sticks with the mentally disturbed flat chick.
