Yup.
More from my ass: There's more women than men on the mommy boards, and more men than women on bg.
Spoiler: show
nothing beats me. my ass is too fast. i would dodge it.
I'm trying to figure out why people aren't insulted by heteronormative. Strikes me that anything outside of that definition would be abnormal. But then again, unless you are talking to a doctor or significant other, I don't see why it even matters to use a label.
It matters because we are specifically talking about people who fall within them, and how their experiences differ from those who don't. Not everyone is the same, and not everyone is treated equally. Pretending otherwise is quite harmful. They aren't just arbitrary labels that are decided at random and don't mean anything.
Can we just talk about how those people don't matter instead? And by talk about them i mean ignore that they exist.

Do these people think that rape is actively encouraged around the world? I don't understand, I think the majority of the world's population knows that rape is wrong, just like murder, robbery, fraud, etc. It's just that they ignore said laws and consciously commit crimes. And what in the world is rape culture?
Even RAINN - The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network says rape culture is bullshit.
Dick wolves.

Brace yourself.
Further edit, because that link isn't as great as I thought: Basically acknowledging rape as anything but the most horrific worst terrible awful crime is minimizing how serious rape is taken, and it makes rape okay somehow and not treating it like a war crime will make all men think it's fine to rape, similar to how every Rogue Cop Takes Care Of Business movie has turned all men since Dirty Harry into wandering loose cannon murderers skating on thin ice.
It's not that people don't understand that rape is wrong, is that there's a huge misunderstanding about consent. The slogan is a direct reaction to the oft-repeated victim blaming that happens when rape enters the national dialogue, where the 'conventional' wisdom becomes 'why do women keep doing all these things that make men rape them?' Instead of 'hey, how about we clear up exactly what consent is so guys aren't raping women?'
SJWs can't distinguish between depictions of bad things and support of bad things, I thought we established that with the Far Cry 4 incident.
Also, Law & Order is triggering me so hard right now.

yes, in some places, rape culture is a thing.
it's not nearly as much of a thing as you would think it is based on reading tumblr all day, but it does exist in some capacity.
the problem in this thread is half of the posters' approaches to self-validating their arguments use the method of
1. form an opinion
2. find places on the internet that support that opinion
3. use those places as irrefutable evidence that your opinion is right
the problem with the anti-watch your drink shit like you posted milks is that it creates false dichotomy... we teach fire prevention as well as fire maintenance, same should be true of rape.
But we wouldn't have to teach fire prevention if it wasn't for fire culture!!!!
What. Fire happens because of carelessness. Knowing what to do in the event of a fire is important. I have not once accidentally splashed grease out of a pan and fucked someone as a result. Men aren't so barbaric that they need courses on how to not fucking rape someone and trying to say women need to know how to act to not get raped is victim blaming.
