On the one hand, people who defend GG are arguing that not all of GG agrees with death and rape threats, and on the other hand, they try to justify the death and rape threats by saying Anita made them up.

Anita Sarkeesian is a "feminist" who takes kickstarter money, stolen Let's Play footage, stolen art, a professed history of never liking video games, and a script written by a man and makes youtube videos about video games featuring logically vacant arguments about how games are misogynistic and this results in real-life misogyny like she's the second coming of Jack Thompson. Saying that being a gamer and disliking this woman is "anti-feminist" is about as ridiculous a notion as saying that anybody who dislikes America dislikes freedom. GG dislikes Anita and accuses her of playing the victim because she's a shyster who's never seen an opportunity to make a career at the expense of gamers that she didn't like.

As far as being discussed in a feminism thread, yeah that tends to happen when the narrative against you is that you're a misogynist. That's like saying that discussion of Duke University in a rape thread is proof everyone from there is a rapist.

She makes inoffensive videos that nearly every member of GG takes as a personal insult to their being. The content of her videos in no way requires the vile and hatred coming from GG. Anybody, male or female, that gets national attention for creating absurdly stupid videos and claiming they are some kind of credentialed critic of society more than earns the ire of people intelligent enough to see through the bullshit. Personally, I rage at Anita Sarkesian's retardation just as much as I do at Reza Aslan. They're both scum with an agenda that isn't backed up by anything remotely resembling reality. The worst part is that the largest part of their agenda is making money for themselves.
