No it wouldn't. People are too deeply entrenched and fully buy into the narrative, which is crafted to inherently shield her from criticism. To criticize her is to brand yourself a dirty filthy misogynist. It's the same strain of logic we see used with the church and with topics like Israel. You can't levy criticism, because doing so implicitly makes you a bad person. It frustrates me no end to see people I know and respect buy into this without seeing that part of the equation, especially when it's blatantly obvious to them in countless other realms.

Learning when women lie does not need to be a necessary life skill.

But learning a healthy amount of empathy IS a necessary life skill. In dating/sex there are the trolls who have NO empathy, and then the poor guys who care so much about everything they might as well be their own jailer

You don't learn those skills out of the womb, you need to be talking with people and experiencing people not saying what they mean. People lie all the time and there is nothing wrong with that. "No baby, don't go to the gym because I like the way you are", "it was really nice to meet you!", "ya I'll be there at xx for our date", "I had a lot of fun with you!" and there's a million more. People lie, they say things they don't mean, and it isn't exclusive to just right before sex (but if you have trouble with that, you're having trouble with the rest of the stuff too). If you don't learn to become intimately aware with the feelings, motivations, etc of the people around you then you will end up a generally confused/angry/sad person. And you do not learn that any other way than going out and talking with people (and it gets accelerated if you have resources guiding you - make war with a multitude of councilors is business and life advice I think people shouldn't live without)

Except that in this case, "golf" is something that 95% of the posters have been playing for years, if not decades.

Calling for a revision of nonsensical, shitty rules makes all of the sense.

So 95%? I don't think so. I frequent the forums a lot (still a habit from years ago) and I can say a lot of the "big" posters have said things like they don't know any of their neighbors, have trouble making friends, will fight a guy if they say something mean to "their girl", will beat the shit out of x for y, and just about everyone types as if they're frothing at the mouth because someone has a different vision of a topic, like that's SO CRAZY lol. No patience & no understanding. I mean it when I say I can only imagine, and I can only imagine what you're like in real life. All those negative outlooks change when you start talking with people en-mass, "going through the shit", and putting some effort into who you are.

Those kinds of people are the main character in their own life story. When Steve pees on the toilet seat he isn't thinking about the next dude who might sit in his piss after, Steve just pees on the toilet seat and the story of Steve continues.

If any case is indicative of the role of guns and mental illness, it's Newtown, and downplaying the need for some people to get treatment for mental health issues in order to gin up some self-serving propaganda only contributes to the stigma of mental illness that leads people to not get the proper treatment they need to deal with their issues.

It's one thing to make flawed arguments about video games that parrot intro-level gender studies material, but this is some fucked up shit on the same level as the NRA trying to argue that shootings would somehow be less common if everyone had a gun.
