I think we probably have differing definitions of what 'a lot' means but as long as you're not trying to say these girls are puttin in work like you an the homies did I can go with it.
There's no data for offline interactions so I can't put any numbers out there and can just go from experience (and while women do make the first move, I wouldn't say they do it 'a lot') but the online shit from the OKC blog and all that show that at least behind the screens its pretty much just dudes puttin in work all day.

oh yea man, if you know any girls that do online dating just ask to look at their inboxes, its a fucking show, but its more than half dudes saying shit like

again, what's the point of saying "it's not the norm"? the whole point is trying to move towards a norm where anyone is comfortable asking anyone else out. no one is saying that its at that point already, just that some progress is being made in that direction, and again, it falls on BOTH parties to reach that point.

thats actually an interesting point. i wonder how much of that has to do with the distribution of black people, such as only a few black kids, therefore they dont get picked on because fear of racism, or maybe they take their revenge outside of school, or handle it with gangs, or whatever. or maybe it's just coincidence. alas, we'll never know. can't collect/do research like that.

Just online dating? From glancing over at girls phones on breaks at work, its any site that has an inbox and a profile pic, including facebook and twitter.

You can replace girl with gay dude and you'd see similiar results. I get about 2 dick pics a day from randoms. Most don't even say hi. Doesn't usually work on me unless they got a good face, then I'm all over it.

I honestly do think a lot of this has to deal with mental illness (or I guess, the lack of mental relaxation) in this country.

I think it safe to say every group has their own way of lashing out when too stressed. White guys= guns and shooting up places, women =drowning children, revenge murders, suicide, black guys= gangs, and so on. (Obviously none of these are mutually exclusive as there is overlapping in all of these). Things like drugs and alcohol reach all of them.

It says to me people in general are fucking stressed/depressed/whatever, and some eventually snap. Some more so than others. It's just the way they snap can be varied so people want to blame so many other sources, when we really should be looking at how to help people live happy lives while still contributing to society.

And by shitty people you mean largely men. Because America is a country where men hold the majority of power and power is all that matters. It's why we get all giddy when some female gets elected to power or leads a private company because it bucks the overwhelming trend towards men. And that by nature is what a patriarchy is. 50 years ago, the idea of a woman running this country would have been as amusing as a black guy running it.

The attitudes women hold towards themselves and other women is largely the construct of men. Be that the religion people follow, the fashion trends that people use to attract mates or the games we play to pass our time. Who created all this stuff? Men. The idea of women having a say, a meaningful say, is a recent invention. This isn't to say powerful women haven't been a thing throughout history but those are roadbumps in a sea of dudes.
