I don't understand how the presence of extra females decreases the chances of catcalling, especially when it's scientifically proven that groups of females look generally more attractive to males. It's called the cheerleader effect. Google it.

I understand that your maple syrup-addled racist canadian brain thinks that black people = ghetto, but again - it's the 2nd highest per-capita income county in the entire united states.

If the filmmaker and her were going for "hey let's troll some poors in New York City" they could've picked, ya know, Queens or something, given that the per-capita income there is less than a quarter of what it is in Manhattan, or the Bronx where the per-capita income is a mere 15% of what it is in Manhattan.

Video is titled "NYC", i didnt know manhattan is all of NYC? I guess bronx, queens, etc are just other cities.

Oddly enough, I have a friend that lives in Manhattan with a roommate. When I asked him about moving out, he said he can't afford the rent because of how expensive manhattan was. I thought he was bsing me. So I went to craigslist and found tons of cheap apartments in manhattan and told him. He asked where, and then laughed with "oh ya sure if I want to get shot. I can't afford to live in a normal place."

Harlem is in Manhattan just so you know.

and there was a whopping 3 total apartments under $1000 - two in Harlem, one in St. George.

I really don't think there's an argument to be had that Manhattan rents are extremely high, is there?

The people claiming she's walking through "a ghetto" are not looking at this video, referencing street signs, and saying "nah fuck that block of Harlem that place sucks" - they're saying "that black guy is sagging his pants it must be a ghetto".

And her video as archi linked says she went to "All areas of manhattan" Black people may not a ghetto make but there are definitely places in manhattan where a rational person would not feel safe. I don't disagree with any of that. You just kinda made it sound like all of Manhattan is rich, which isn't true. I dunno anything about streets over there so could definitely not say if the shots she shows were in ghetto areas or not, so I am not making that argument at all. Just that it could be. Considering it was 10 hours I doubt she just stuck to the upper east side ykwim.
