If it was about the waving cock comment, its a nhl reference most here wont get. Those that do know what its about.
You dont think the fight for equality took a massive blow
to be fair, im sure we've all done the equivalent of landing a thingy on a comet at some point in our careers of video gaming. its not like he was flying the shuttles from Armageddon and then drilling a hole into the comet and arming a nuke and then staying behind to detonate the nuke because the remote detonator was broken
Of course not. Do you think even 5% of first world humans have the first inkling of what was accomplished by this man and his team, much less what his shirt looked like, much less know about the reaction to said shirt enough to change their opinion (which they likely have barely given a thought to) about women's rights?
And on top of that, your "asking for it by their clothing" analogy isn't nearly as powerful as you think it is.
Time will tell that
No it won't, cause feminist whine loud enough to change stories and polls.
Ooh those feminists make me so mad
Get more secure in your privilege, bro
Probably. A bro-bullying, between privileged bros
My priviledge doesnt need to be checked
As a cis white canadian male, i have worldwide diplomatic immunity.
Aussie Today Show anchor manages to do more for the cause of feminism than practically every scandalous story that neofeminists have attempted to use as their warcry this year. Wears same suit for an entire year, shockingly nobody notices. http://www.theage.com.au/entertainme...15-11ncdz.html
"No one has noticed; no one gives a shit. But women, they wear the wrong colour and they get pulled up. They say the wrong thing and there’s thousands of tweets written about them. Women are judged much more harshly and keenly for what they do, what they say and what they wear… I’ve worn the same suit on air for a year - except for a couple of times because of circumstance - to make a point. I’m judged on my interviews, my appalling sense of humour - on how I do my job, basically. Whereas women are quite often judged on what they’re wearing on how their hair is." -Karl Stefanovic
No one notices the suit, its the tie that catches the eye
I was under the impression that wearing the same basic outfit with a different tie was the standard for most ultra-professional (suit/tie) jobs.
Matt Lauer sports obnoxious suits all the time lol
How is that pro feminist? He specifically says "women notice". Do guys notice if a woman wears the same outfit on news?
Seems awfully biased.
I don't see where he specifically says only women notice women. The male-operated media establishment lives off of critiquing petty shit about what women look like, especially successful women or women in power.
I dont know if its just lighting / shadows / camera angles / light detraction from the tie or what not, but those two shirts on the far right look light blue. The blazer in the bottom middle looks dark grey, not navy blue.
Whoever screencapped these, IF theyre all the same blazer and dress shirt, did a garbage job.
I dont want to go all adaman hauberk and start analysing pixels, eye test will suffice, but you can also see that the backdrop has a different color pattern every time.
