Maybe they don't have their phone? Maybe they can't afford a cab, or there are no cabs at 2 am where they live? Maybe they don't want to bother their friends at 2 am. You really can't imagine a situation where someone might have to be out at 2 am?

Live in fear and believe that everyone will potentially rape you all you want. I am not required by any law or moral code to pander to your fear and be a "decent human being" in your narrow and naive view of the world. If you do not like the situation you are in if someone is behind you while walking at night, then it is on you to change it. I will continue to live, just as I have for 32 years, without raping anyone. I will continue to walk down the street and mind my own business. You can deal with your own fear and not bring me into it.

You live in NYC, there are cabs at 2am. If there are no cabs at 2am, you probably live in a small town where everybody knows each other, and saying "hi" on the street is normal.

Your "ideal" situation is ideal as this:
SJW's are "trying to get more women in the video gaming field because its dominated by misogynist men", then say "boycott this game made by a woman because she supports gamergate". How is this relevant? They're trying to silence the very thing they're fighting for.

Your ideal solution is bullshit, it is the very opposite of equality and paints women as weak helpless damsels, which is the very thing feminists want women to NOT be thought of.

High River is a city 45 minutes away from Calgary. it has a population if approximately 13k.

Population of 13k too big? Okay then.

Chapais is a city in the northern part of Quebec, and I just googled this, I had no knowledge of its existence until now. It boats a whopping population of 1610 people.
There are cabs operating 24 hours a day.

Bane you got a tough job cleaning this up and I know its not exactly productive discussion... but isn't locking a thread with well over 260 pages(inferiorsettings) of discussion over one instance of a circular argument a little bit like shooting as a first response ._.

I hope this isn't taken as sassing I'm not trying to sass you, I just genuinely enjoy reading this thread sometimes to pass the time.
