A lot of examples she points out actually go against her video until she waves her hands and says something like "cultural permission of sexism perpetuated"

Unless video games are a core part of your identity, I don't you have any business calling yourself a "gamer".

I've been playing video games non-stop for the past 22 years and have no intention of ever stopping. I self identify as a gamer.
