Err...sorry, weird hiccup when I tried to quote.

Let me rephrase it so it can be 100% accurate for you so you don't have any misconceptions on whether or not I'm overreacting to what he said, "whining about it doesnt help the feminist cause in actually relevant areas(like equal pay). Don't like fan service? Wanna complain about it? Well, it isn't going to help you make as much money as Ted the Womanizer, our employee of the month.

Is it weird that I'm more offended they spend money on a booth babe's wage when they could be putting that money to better use, such as, well, improving the game they want us to buy?
Even if that is what he said? Okay, go back and look at his post and confirm for me that your read it.
thats exactly what you said though, booth babes are commercials
No, he was calling into question a post I quoted earlier on complaining about fan service not helping women get equal pay to their male counterparts.
Holy shit, he said it didn't help. Stop blowing shit out of proportion. Hurt/didn't help, oh lord. Blah. Blah. Blah.
Celeste...I just simply don't understand why you are arguing here...Or even what you are arguing except your own opinion that you don't want any sex appeal anywhere ever. Your opinion is irrelevant to the company that is making money because there are boobs standing at their booth and on the cover of their latest game. They just don't care that you might feel threatened by sex appeal.
2 pages ago they were all for it though. So either trolling or idk wtf. Isn't that shit banned in this forum?
You said, "if that is even what they said" in regards to my quote of Ashmada's post on complaining about fan service hurting equal pay for women. We were discussing that subject. Don't pull the troll card on me.
I don't mind tasteful fan service! Sex appeal is cool as long as it's tasteful, so, everything but Duke Nukem Forever & looking up the skirts of school girls(even this is not so bad). The comment I made about it being cool that they not waste money on the booth babes and instead put that money towards improving their game was off topic.
celeste is bonkers
*nod*
You are so totally absolutely right! He didn't say HURT, that was a misquote, he said it didn't help the feminist cause of equal pay for women, which is equally as dubious as saying hurt. In fact, even bringing up equal pay for women in his post was questionable in intent. It didn't belong there. Oh, and complainers are typically viewed as being weak, is why I brought that up, so to bring us full circle here.
"Complaining about fan service doesn't help the feminist cause of equal pay for women" > "OMG WOMEN ARE WEAK BRO(Example: Journalist complains about PR rep for game company not letting her play the game she set an appointment up to play. Therefore, as complainers are weak and unable to deal with not getting what they want/not being able to shut up about it, this female journalist does not deserve pay equal to her male counterparts. *THIS IS AN EXAMPLE*)"
Am I getting through to you? If not, I'll just carry on with my life and stop wasting my time. ._.
