Continuing the strawman. The boiling point for "video game journalism" nepotism has hit it's threshold and it has nothing to do with a "evil wimmins". Is it possible to think Zoe is a manipulative bitch without thinking that women need to get out of gaming or that rape is okay or that women are being treated badly in the industry? Because fuck all if you say anything bad about her. That's my issue with all of this. That's the thing though, people hold her and Anita up as beacons of the industry. Of MY industry. How courageous they are. How brave they are. How we should celebrate them and if you say something bad about them you are part of the problem.

And even though anita is a blight on us all, she wouldn't have even been such an issue if gamers could form a coherent argument without sounding like sexist twats. Too many gamers are simply raging autistic mongoloids who can't seem to express disapproval for something without using sexist, homophobic, or racist language between every other verb. While games have matured as a respectable medium, a large part of the audience doesn't seem to have matured as much.

RE: Zoe being some powerless nobody

There's another female game development contest competing with Rebel Jam called The Fine Young Capitalists, which Zoe misrepresented and smeared all over twitter. In the past couple days, /v/ helped raise over $20,000 for it, $5000 of it coming from them directly, making them the largest backer. They designed a character to be featured in whichever game won the contest, and nominated a colon cancer fund to receive their portion of the profits to go towards "curing butthurt".

Zoe supporters had a gigantic problem with a feminist organization taking money from 4chan, and as of a couple hours ago the campaign page was hacked and removed from Indiegogo (suspiciously, because afaik Indiegogo campaigns cannot be deleted once they've received donations).

She fucking doxxed me, ruined a production for women, refused to contact us and is currently taking money for a game jam with no start date, no location and no judges.

Okay here is my story.

We ran a group that literally said, "Any woman come up with an idea for a video game, we'll give you concept art so you can pitch your game, and we'll put all the pitches online. The internet will votes on the best one and we'll make that game and give the profits to charity. If you get a lot of interest online and want to make the game on your own, you can leave the contest at any time." Literally everyone that was in the top 5 didn't have programming experience so they couldn't make their game on their own.
She was like "Why do you expect woman to work for free to make games." We said... well they get 8% of the money as royalties and they just have to give an idea, other people will make the game and the profits go to charity. Doesn't matter, it's oppressive. She started a fucking twitter storm, crashed our website, got my personal information doxxed, got us banned from Twitter. We email reporter what up and their like "Duhhhh if Zoey says it oppressive it must be true. Maybe you should give her money for Rebel Jam which has no start date, location or any other information but totally isn't a scam." This happen at 3 major online publications. We literally said we'd pay her to consult on future projects and we'd close down the contest if she would explain to us what is exactly offensive. No response, no response at all, unless a reporter contacted her and then she's the victim.

All this information is fucking online, the pitches are online, we did everything we said but no online journalist will publish the story.

More then that, she slept with people in what looks like a goal of furthering her agenda/career and garnering support for her game. Feminists should be fucking appalled by that as it shits in the face of everything they "stand" for in terms of equality. I wouldn't say she's anywhere near Anita's league though, but due to her shit going down it has opened the doors for people to see the corrupt insides of gaming media in general which is why it's getting a shit load of attention. People don't care as much about Quinn I don't believe, but they do care a great deal about just how fucking bad game journalism is.

She was able to gain favoritism from friends/partners/sex monkeys or whatever for critic reviews. Why bother linking user reviews as that's not the supposed issue. Again I say supposed because no one has come out or will come out and say "Yeah I fucked Zoe and gave her a great review because of it!". It's just bringing to light the shit behind the scenes and how fucking stupid indie development is at times (Though this was obvious with the likes of Phil Fish).

Also according to one of the videos, and I didn't bother confirming this, Zoe's paypal for her Game Jam links directly to her personal paypal for donations?
