Obviously it happens to men too, but not as often and not as badly.

Considering the vast majority of people at the forefront of gaming are men, I disagree. How can you assume this?

Transsexuals needed to fight to get their sex changed on birth certificates. This really is not an issue for gays. So I could see why it is mostly transsexuals fighting for it. However, we have the LGBT movement to encompass several who are discriminated against in regards to sexual identity. Become many of them share the same discrimination in other areas. (Some more than others, but we still fight for all).

The ultimate irony here was that it was feminists that made it difficult to get your gender legally changed and got HRT and such removed off of regular health insurance.

In a case where only blacks deal with an issue that we focus on blacks, but if there is an issue that happens to several minorities a decent amount, then ya I think we should focus on helping everyone.

In this particular case we are speaking on an issue that is relevant to both sexes and demonstrably so yet a certain group of people focuses only on their group. Clearly not the same thing.

That isn't even a good analogy. Unless you're trying to present rich people solely as the mega-privileged whites, whose issues amount to rich people problems. Whereas these starving people have no defined characteristics.

Because those starving people can also be white and cishetero alphabet soup; probably more likely to be not-white, but that's irrelevant really. Trust me, I know.

Its an irrelevant analogy because it assumes that men don't get harassed in the same exact manner as women do and do not have the same resulting security issues from said harassment.

Who has claimed that there are no men who receive the same treatment? I don't see a single person making that claim. Maybe i missed it. If so, that one person is an idiot. It's all about the numbers.

So in this instance, why not just fucking address sexual harassment across gender lines, period, then? If anything, i'd think male victims have the least sympathy and resources availible to cope/deal with the act than women do. Seems pretty black-and-white to me: just fucking deal with all sexual harassment at once. You'd have a pan-gender coalition of people and no one can cry sexism or misogyny/misandry.

Yeah, because you know i don't have any. From what i can see, it's quite clear. If in fact the difference is simply that men don't speak up about their abuse, then maybe they should, that way we can give them the attention they deserve.
