Its going to be Dion Phaneuf constantly struggling and failing to earn the respect of his peers; wouldn't even be surprised to see him cry.

So, i got to ask. What is your guy's opinion on how the Wings will do next season. Everyone I talk too, or anything I read is calling this the end of the Wings legacy.
Datsyuk and Zetterberg can't 2 man carry a team.
Howard/Gustavsson in net might be a suspect combo, though Howard will still start 60+ of the games.
It's gonna be so weird not seeing #5 out there for them, so I'm sure the PK will struggle a bit without the calm anchor out there.
But it's not like you and I will be competing for Nathan MacKinnon at the end of the season.![]()
This what I expect of Babcock on 24/7

I would not be surprised to hear him attempting to make the film crew do sprints or some other taxing athletic punishment for being late setting up for the scheduled interview time.
Rangers were underdogs this year and that didn't seem to matter either.
I'd rather be an underdog than "The Cup is ours this year according to some nerds in Vegas etc" before the thought of training camp even enters your mind.
I was thinking at work today and I realized the Kings don't even really have any big rivals right now. I guess maybe the Canucks? I do miss the old days of the Flames and Oilers being our big rivals. I still get pumped playing the Oilers even thought the havent had a rivalry since he 80s, lol.
Yeah, even the Oilers/Flames don't have the same rivalry as before. It's turned into "1-0 Oilers at the end of 1." "2-0 Oilers at the end of 2." "Someone chirps Iginla and he wakes up, goes beastmode and the Oilers lose 6-2."
Well, Personally I hate the Coyotes and Ducks the most in the division. I don't care for Dallas to much but that was mostly because I can't fucking stand Ribeiro and now that hes gone Dallas doesn't bother me much.
I never really hate a problem with the Sharks, not sure why, lol.
Sharks are their own worst enemies. Hard to hate them unless youre a sharks fan.
I wondered if the Canucks (fans mostly I guess) even view the Kings as a rival. They were pretty good rivals in the late 80s early 90s. Kings fans saw the Wings and Avs as rivals in the early 2000s but I think that was one sided, lol.
Based on what I'm hearing a LOT around fans in the city, it's mostly the Canucks just looking down on every other team. Chicago was the biggest rival, but then they passed them in the 10/11 playoffs. I haven't heard a lot of "god, I hate that team", but moreso, "god, we're so fucking good."
And then the majority of the city can't even say why the team is good, and if anyone finds out you cheer for a different team, they chirp the hell out of you basically saying that your team sucks, the Canucks are the best, and that's it. You can argue ANYTHING against the stereotypical Canuck fan, and they'll just spout out useless, non-factual garbage and continue on their ignorant day.
This is the stereotypical fan in the city mind you. Any Canuck fan that actually knows anything about hockey, which is few and far in-between, you can actually have good hockey talks with.
Does this Penn State shit have anything to do with anything but their football program? I'd hate to see their hockey program suffer for this shit.
Ruling states that other sports cannot cut spending to pay the fine, which will be $12 million over 5 years. PSU hockey was almost entirely funded by a massive donation from Pegula IIRC, so I think it's safe.
Edit: Also, records show PSU has over $1.5 billion cash on hand, so the fine is almost meaningless, lol.
VERT SEEG re-signs with Florida, $4.4 million per year for four years.
