    Brown has never been a vocal leader but he is one of those leaders that puts everything on the table when he plays and bust his ass off. He lets his playing do the talking and it gets his teammates going. Brown is an awesome captain.

    Isn't he in the AHL? Would they be allowed to go to the Olympics being on the farm teams of the NHL teams?

    ....welp, clearly I had no idea when Redden's contract had finally come to an end. But I legitimately have no idea if players on the farm team would be allowed to participate of they were tied to an NHL team through a contract of some sort. Minor league contract, two-way contract, etc. Is it really that terribad of a question?

    Nearly 5 mil a year? Does not bode well for Vancouver negotiating with Burrows. He was making 2mil and he could see a raise like that.

    I won a spot for Winter Classic ticket sales...but found out today that I would be able to get tickets for free from my step-father since his company is a sponsor of the event since it's in Michigan, and the fact hes friends with Yzerman...but alas.

    Wondering if anyone who does want to go to the Winter Classic and Winter Festival would want my registration codes and login info. Window for sales opens tomorrow at 10:00 AM EST and ends Wednesday at 5:00 pm EST. Prices listed on the Maple Leafs website are in Canadian dollars.
