Caps have #11 and #16, I've read plenty of mocks, and all of them have them taking different players. I like to watch the draft, then read up on who the Caps get. No point in getting excited for kids buried in other teams' systems for three years.

While I'm glad Shero is expecting to pull the trigger on a defenseman, I think that there's very little chance anyone is dumb enough to take on Martin's contract. I would expect Lovejoy to move, possibly Sneep or Strait.

Yeah, forechecking was a huge reason the Kings won. Teams couldn't handle it and couldnt get much going out of their own zone.

Not just the Kings, either. The Devils got there because of a nasty forecheck too, as did the Rangers in the ECF.

Respectfully disagree. I think we'll be really surprised at the return Martin will give us. He's a good defenseman, just not in our system. Having a goalie that can actually play the puck without making his fans clench their asses helped too.

Its weird to think how differently things might've gone had Fleury and Letang not misplayed that puck in OT in Game 1.
