How'd you get the game a day early?

Its something like EA Sports Ticket or w/e its called, you get all EA games 3 days early (Madden, NHL, etc). It was available last year with that option too.

Does anyone know a good place to get old hockey jerseys? My discretionary spending budget with my new job/promotion has jumped significantly and I'm interested in having a few cool, quarky hockey jerseys and ebay isn't really producing many reliable looking results.

The owners are mostly at fault, but there's also a boatload of players who absolutely refused to take four million dollars per year instead of five as if it made some obscene difference in lifestyle options.

Ok we haven't gotten too much more feedback regarding the point values for the ESPN league, so going off Izzy/Ivaden's suggestions, how about something like this:

Faceoffs Won (FOW) 0.2 Faceoffs Lost (FOL) -0.2
Shots on goal (SOG) 0.2 Hits (HIT) 0.5
Blocked Shots (BLK) 0.5 Power Play Points (PPP) 3
Short Handed Points (SHP) 7
D-men Points .5

Goaltending
Wins (W) 8 Losses (L) -4
Goals Against (GA) -1 Saves (SV) 0.4

Things changed: Assists added .5, GWG reduced by 2, D-men points added at .5 Wins upped by 3, Loss penalty increased by 1, Saves upped by .2, OTL penalty increased by 1.

We increased some skater stats by adding more to assists and D-men points, so the boost to Goalies might not be enough if skaters become more valuable too. Facilitated this by boosting saves to .4. Could see a 20-30 point swing from a Goalie winning with lots of saves a night, which I think is OK given the importance of the position and the fact you can only have 2 set a night.

Let me know what you guys think, setting the draft date is next

Pittsburghers if you wanted to find old jerseys too I checked Sports Deli at Parkway Center Mall on a tip from a hockey teammate, all they have is playerless old ugly fucking pidgeon early 2000's / late 1990's black jerseys and 1 Jagr Capitals jersey as far as pre-lockout CCM jerseys go.

GL, my summer league championship is in 2 hours.... what position are you gonna be playing? We used to play any position, every player, but we've gotten more specialized and I play defense and move up to wing on the PP, one of the two forwards on PK.... i'm good at D if I'm back where I should be when they gain control of the puck, I just tend to Paul Coffee a little too much.

Didnt they agree to a contract cut last lockout? The owners clearly didnt learn their lesson if they have to ask for another one.

If your boss cut your waste from 10$ to 8$, slowly raised you back to 10$, but then said "I'm paying you too much, I need to cut your wage to 8/hr again", I dont think you'd be very pleased or willing.

Most likely wing, the only position I am familiar with and the least responsibility!

Go low if you're taking a shot, amateur goalies have no rebound control. Go high on anything after the initial shot by you/your teammate, amateur goalies go down way too much and stay down way too long.

This, inexperienced goalies dont know how to cushion the shot with their pads and tend to legit kick at the puck
