The one plus side is that all these teams with young players get a full year (Well, hopefully not a full year) to send their players down to the minor leagues and farm teams to develop. I know it's AHL and kinda lame, but looking at some of the players that just Calgary and Edmonton sent down, there is a lot of talent that would be entertaining to watch. Which is rad because Abbotsford is so nearby and the tickets are dirt cheap!

Omg I just made a post 18 hours ago about how cool it will be to see junior/AHL action and then everyone's like OMG JRS/AHL talent today.

Every team designating everyone on entry deals to AHL or back to jr (when eligible).

Pens just designated 23 to AHL with 3 (including both 1st rd picks) back to Jrs.

This whole thing sucks. I finally get a bit of money saved to where I could reasonably travel to a few games - even head back up north to see Penguins/visit family - and this shit happens. What a fail. :/

Wonder if there's any good minor league stuff around here, but as it's Florida and Florida is lame when it comes to winter sports, I doubt it.

The players are showing themselves to be really naive and stupid with their Twitter comments. Not helping their cases IMO.
