Damnit Judai lol, that will teach me to read that, stop to find image, and then post before finishing page. Or will it?!
Is there any decent explanation out there on just what HRR is, and how it goes to the players? Is it separate from their standard salary, does it all go to the PA, etc...? That's my biggest confusion in this whole clusterfuck.
I'm tired of the lockout already, and I'm getting to the point of not caring if they come back. I deal with enough financial bullshit at work, so now to have my nightly stress relief acting like whiny children is infuriating. It took me roughly 3 seasons to watch a game, let alone even follow hockey at all after the last lockout. I didn't even know the Canes won the cup until two seasons after.![]()
For Dolmen:

I hope that helps.![]()
AHL hockey on sportsnet!!!! I'll take it!
Yeah, Baby Habs are getting fucked by the Baby Leafs.....![]()
The best part about watching hockey on a Saturday night right now is not having to hear Don Cherry spew some incoherent gibberish while wearing a suit made out of 1970's era drapes from a brothel
LOL, 3-0 Baby Leafs now.
Our smallest dog is now hiding in the corner like "Oh shit, Dad's watching the yelly game." But it's cute, since he'll wait a few minutes, then slowly tip-toe back over and flop down on my feet again like "There, the world is all better again now. See?"
God they're bad
Canucks vs Flames in the classic CBC NHL game
Mike Vernon Vs Kick Mclean![]()
Take him!
Honestly, I don't watch HNIC pretty much anymore being the shit that is Coach's Corner - and the fact that every first game is the Leafs, followed by the Canucks to end the double-header of ppppth. Unless it's a rare Montreal game for the first one, I'll just skip CBC for the most part now. And even then, I'll hit mute, or change the channel when Coach's Corner starts.
I love watching Coach's Corner, the amount of times Don Cherry correctly predicts what's gonna have involving some sort of Hockey issue is amazing. He also openly admits when he's wrong when he goes on his rants and says something incorrect about somebody or something. And that I can respect about him.
I think they always play Toronto and Vancouver games mainly because timezone wise, it works pretty much perfectly for CBC. And toss in the large population bases for both the cities and the viewership draws, it makes sense. Does it suck? Fuck yeah it does, but what can you do?
Jr Flames are 3-0-1 so far. Sven Baertschi has 6 points, 3 goals and 3 assists, in those games. They played the Jr Canucks (4-1-0) this weekend and my buddy and I went to the game on Friday. It was pretty fun and tickets were dirt cheap at $28 each. The downside is the game on Friday the Heat lost in a shootout to the Wolves and Sven didn't have any points, where as yesterday they won 4-1 and Sven had another 1 goal 1 assist game =/. What can you do.
I plan on going to see the Heat vs Barons in November, should be fun. The Barons have like 90% of the Oilers full time roster on the team haha
Hahaha, the Barons aren't *that* loaded with Oilers players. Maybe a few forwards, but that's pretty much it.
Hall (when he's ready to go), Eberle and RNH for sure. Paajarvi is basically a call-up guy at this point for Edmonton. Spent the first half up in the NHL and did a whole lot of sweet fuck all, so he got sent down.
OKC's D is pretty much their usual roster with the addition of Justin Schultz, who is impressing the shit out of me so far. 4 goals, 6 points and +6 in four games. Teubert and Plante are maybe call-ups for a handful of games over the course of a year, and the rest are the normal AHL~worthy players.
Goalies... well, Olivier Roy and Yann Danis are pretty much lifers down there. If Roy does make the NHL, it won't be here in Edmonton. Dubnyk will be #1 at some point, and I think Bunz is gonna be the backup. Assuming they don't go out and pick someone up to replace ReKhab when his deal is done here.
