As soon as the Winter Classic gets shut down, the season's officially over.
They were talking on TSN comparing Owners vs Players in a "Which Side Is Losing More?" debate and it's by far the players. Mostly because there's a bunch of teams losing less money by not having any games being played. Which just shows that obviously there's teams in stellar hockey markets. So when Katz sells the Oilers, I can see Bettman insta-approving a move of the team to the NHL hotbed of Flagstaff, while also dragging his heels on letting someone buy/move the Coyotes.

ATM the NHL is almost a dictatorship Aka Bettman talks and Owners need to follow. You can see this easily because players can comment np but owners are not able to. Which they are link to Bettman talking for everbody,

Which means atm imo Bettman has too much power.

When Bettman will leave (one day)

Should the NHL stay like that? Aka the commissionner has all rights? Or finally give some speaking voice to the owners

Personally I'm glad the owners have a gag order. I've lost a lot of respect for the players based on their comments on Twitter.
