Yeah I miss any hockey days when they were actually playing.![]()
I miss having a reason to be active on BG. And fantasy hockey.
A Pittsburgh-themed Sports Memorbilia store is going out of business this fall/winter and everything was 20% off and I cracked and bought a Simon Despres jersey while stopping in on the way home. Now the Penguins better not disappointment me and trade him in less than a year like they did when I got my Goligoski jersey.

What store Sep? I may have to take a trip out and take a look around.
Parkway Center Mall - Sports Deli, its off the first exit on Parkway West after taking Fort Pitt Tunnel out of Pittsburgh, so literally 5-10 minutes from downtown. The whole mall is closing since their final major tenant (KMART) is not re-upping their lease. Its just KMART, Sports Deli, Phantoms of the Attic comic book shop, 2 asian places (martial arts and massage), and an eyeglasses optometry business left. The whole mall closes January 13th but the stores need to close January 1st or 6th to give themselves a week or two to move out everything unsold from the place.
Both KMART and Sports Deli have "entire store % off / all sales final" going on right now. And I would expect that % to increase closer to the end but obviously less selection as things won't be restocked BUT I will say, Sports Deli has the best Pittsburgh memorbilia selection of all pittsburgh sports stores. 100x better than those Hometown Sports stores you see in Century 3 mall, South Hills village, etc. Tons of unique knickknacks, old steelers jerseys, a few old hockey jerseys, a lot of dated memorbilia from 20 years ago. Scoreboards, mugs, etc. Some non-pittsburgh sports stuff too since its not specifically a Pittsburgh Sports store, its a store for people who like sports.

Some of their photos you can start to see the type of collection and style of store they run. No off-brand black+gold covered slogan shirts that you could custom make from a local T-shirt manufacturer like BeeGraphix. Real sports products, some of them pretty old, some of them pretty unique hard to find... shame the store is going out of business. You can also see some of the older and/or non-Pittsburgh stuff they have there on the front page's rotation of pictures (Lemieux jerseys, old steelers, signed brett favre jersey, etc)
Mother fucker I know where Parkway Center Mall is lol. I was not aware that the whole mall was closing though.
What are the local minor Chicago hockey teams? My dad used to go to a few Blackhawks games a season and I want to buy him some tickets to some local games around there while the lockout is going on.
Someone's gonna get a penalty!

The head of the supposed CHLPA is refusing to show himself. And the CHL actually went and hired a private investigator to find out who this guy is lmao.
Do you? LOL Partying in the Mall Club in the 90s??????

When the winter classic falls, the entire season shall fall...
All of the other leagues have had 1 lockout each in the time the NHL has had 3, right?
Bye bye winter classic
