Do season ticket holders not get refunded if they don't play? That is bullshit if so.

All teams allow you to refund; if you do not opt for the refund, you get interest that varies by team. The Rangers / Flyers / etc are like 2%, whereas the Preds / Wild / etc are like 10% APR. The only time it's a big issue is if you're a season ticketholder of a really popular team like the Leafs. You can refund your tickets, but if you do, you go to the end of the queue if you decide to get them again say next season.

For the Jets, because all ticket holders have a 3, 5 or 7 year term, it'll just be extended for however many games are missed. According to my buddy who I share tickets with. I'll have to actually sit down and read that agreement sometime lol.

My opinions regarding hockey have not changed despite the shittiness of the situation. As soon as this ends, I'm going to overdose hard on hackey. And I think Steve / Bill talk tomorrow afternoon informally on phone, make some progress, meetings get scheduled for Mon-Wed, and deal in principle or major progress announced by Wed night. That story actually adds weight to an idea that's been floated around and may come to pass. If Snider is pissed at what Bettman is able to negotiate out of this lockout this could end up getting Bettman ousted. Depending on this all ends we could see a new Commish, even though Bettman's got a six year contract.
