He was stealing him to argue on behalf of the NHLPA
Bettman: Here's my proposal
Biebs: Baby, baby, baby, no!
Bettman: I didn't even say anything yet though.
NHLPA: Yeah, but he still bargains better than Fehr
LOL!
I can't say that I understand Crosby going to see JB. Ewwwww. He lost some respect points today.
In that case, acceptable. If he just went alone though ... no.
From now on, he'll be known as Sidney Crosbiebs anyway.![]()
You know, lost in all of this is that Tyler Kennedy also went.
So they went together on some weird bromance night out.
I can also accept that.
I don't know what's worse. Being Crosby at a Bieber concert or being Crosby's wingman at a Bieber concert.
And the NHL just canceled the All-Star game, and the season through December 14th.

At this point, if it's not an announcement for the season starting, not interested.
Rather do other things now. The rage inside of me hasn't subsided, it's just smoldering![]()
I love how the NHL announces it today, when everyone is focused on Black Friday, hoping this goes quietly unnoticed.
I think the fallout between Neuvirth, Brouwer and Hamrlik is kinda funny. Or player reps calling players greedy for speaking their mind.
At this point, just cancel this season as it's not going to get sorted out, but keep talking to save NEXT season onward. They're gonna be snagged at the make whole / full pay thing for this year, so just ditch it. You're not gonna get 100% pay for less than 100% of a season, end of story. But rather than wait until the last week before next season is supposed to start, start making the offers now. That way the players/fans/NHL Employees will know by January, March or whenever it gets done, that next year and X amount of years forward is taken care of.
Otherwise it's just gonna be daily updates of:
Players: Full pay preez.
NHL: Well, you're only gonna get 55 ~ 60 games max at this point, so we'll pro rate it.
Players: Full pay preez.
NHL: You don't get this do you? You can't ask for a full 80 hour paycheck when there's only a max of 3 days left. So at best you're not even gonna get 80 hours total, even if you worked 3 days straight.
Players: We're doing this for the future! Will somebody think of the childrens?!?! Also, full pay preez.
NHL: Forget it, we'll meet later
*A few days later*
Players: Full pay, Mr Bettman.
NHL: So... now there's even less time, less time to schedule games in, and you still want a contract worth 80 games' worth.... riiiight.
Players: So, how about that full pay?
So I think that rather than just canceling a few games along the way, just come out and say fuck it, this season is hopeless. We're now bargaining for 2013/14 and on. As for this season, just go in with a looping Gene Wilder clip of "You get NOTHING! You LOSE! Good day, sir!" and start bargaining for next year really early.
While true, its just not how it works in sports and no one has ever asked for a full pay season while in a lock out.
Fuck!!!!!!!! God dammit!?!?!?!
