I wasnt pleased when Gainey refused to resign him, I'm aware he wasnt the player who'd score 50 goals in a season, or would score that clutch goal with 2 seconds to go to tie the game up, but he was that player you'd want on the ice when you're a man short going 6 on 4 in the last minute of the game, or the guy you could count on to win the draw when it counts. Not to mention that whole cancer thing.

He was like a Finnish Guy Carbonneau, the guy who did very important things that werent reflected in the stats that fans care about.
