Yeah but it was on sale and its season specific... jerseys are sold year round and typically not significantly discounted. Plus Ron Burkle may single handedly save a half-season, the least I can do is see to it his wallet gets an extra $1, even if it means putting $50+ in the hands of Reebok/NHL.

My badge at work is on a Caps lanyard, also I have a ballcap I wear during the winter (warm months = Cubs hat). Haven't worn a jersey since the Caps got game 7'd by the Rags.

I'm really hoping Bettman gets fired because of this lockout. All would be forgiven if that happens.
