I can't even pick 6. Iggy is old enough and on his last year of his contract. Kipper has 2 years left, but is also aging. Tangs, Cammi, Hudler, J-Bo, Glencross, Widemen, you can't really build a team around. There's no solid player in that 6 that can be an anchor on the team. Giordano would be the one Veteran I'd 100% keep.

The prospects are also a shot in the dark too. Lots of unproven talent, but out of all of them, Sven Baertschi is the only one I can confidently say I want to keep. And then you have big gambles like Cervenka and Ramo in the KHL, again, unproven in the NHL. They can potentially be great but could also be lack luster.

/sigh, I was excited for this year because our team was going to be taking some chances on a lot of unproven players. It could have either went extremely well, or incredibly poorly.

I wouldt see any other teams picking up desharnais, hes one of those great "under the radar" guys. I did leave out emelin and plec tho.

Went Christmas shopping and Sportchek had a good sale on for Team Canada stuff. Thought I would treat myself for not buying any NHL related stuff (their revenue can collectively kiss my ass this year). $10 the cap, and $40 for a nice zip-up sweater.

Mind you, we have Justin Schultz and.... and..... and.....
I'd say Ryan Whitney, but between him and Hemsky, I dunno who's more injury-prone.
