Hmm looks like I'm taking a ride this morning. I'll let you know what the discounts are up to.
I wonder if I can buy stock in the AHL, seems like a good investment to pocket for when the NHL folds after not being able to recover from losing this season.
Still 20% Sep. I talked to the owner today. He said they are currently looking for a new location to rent. If they can't find one you'll see a price drop pretty quickly. They said once the K-Mart closes if they stay open with no place to move to it's going to be a matter of weeks before they have to close permanently.
I did buy the opening night at Consol canvas though. It was the last one left. Going right up on the game room wall.
Now that my most hectic semester ever has come to a close, I feel like the lack of hockey is going to catch up to me. I was so fucking busy it really didn't make a difference, but now that I have a bare minimum of shit to do for the next 6 months I'd be nice to have a good sport to watch.

Not 100 percent, but it's likely NHL will cancel more games before end of the week
I dont get why theyre announcing further canceled games like its a threat. Everyone knows the season is done.
If they save anything, itll be so late theyll have an inter-division round robin (1 home/away vs every team) and shortened playoffs (top from divisions + the mlb wild card)
They'll simulate what was missed using simulated games on NHL13.
The standings will be adjusted accordingly, as well as injuries.
George Parros will win the Art Ross after a record-breaking 103 goal season.
It says here that Mr. Crosby had a broken leg
Crosby: what..no, my legs are fine.
Terms of the CBA sir, all injuries are to be replicated for authenticity

The 94-95 lock out ended on January 11th, 1995. They played 48 games (regular season lasted till May) and still had a full playoffs.
If this follows how the NBA lock out went, I would think they likely get a deal done around January 1st. I really hope both sides aren't dumb enough to lose a season over whats left to negotiate.
OFF TO AC BITCHES, SEE WHEN IM POOR
So I often have very vivid dreams, and last night was no exception.
I'm driving to Consol, unsure why, but I am. Upon entering Consol I'm greeted with a plethora of hockey jerseys and immediately make the connection that, good lord, hockey is back! However at some point while headed to my seat, Consol turns into the Flyers arena. All other Penguins sweaters disappear. I get to my seat and the view of the ice is completely obstructed, I can only watch the game on the jumbotron through a small hole in the wall that was obstructing my view. It was only my seat, and the arena was completely sold out.
The Flyers were playing the Maple Leafs.
Good dream because hockey was back, or nightmare? I can't decide.
He had to do something befoe the next Justin Bieber concert
The season is toast. Only the NHL can lose a possible 2.5 seasons in 18 years. I've listened to the NHL's shenanigans get dissected by Toronto media for years (from head shots to the Phoenix situation) and I can't help but facepalm every time.
