Canada had lots of open ice chances in the first, but failed to bury em. I went to bed after the first period, so idk about how it looked after.

Funny thing being Canada lost to Mannheim (German team) in the first game of the Spengler.

Looks like the leauge made an offer and based on what was given by the player, the leauge moved closer to what the PA wanted. Seems they went half way from what the players wanted. 6 year contract length, 7 if you resign with team and moved from 5% to 10% and kept the 300 million make whole. Seems like a decent offer.

Sabres picks are doing well also. Grigs has a point and is working well on the top line, Armia with 2, McCabe captian for US, and Makarov who was in goal today for Russia making some pretty good saves. He was supposed to be the back up but after what the starting goalie let in yesterday no way he was starting. haha
