Parise has offers coming in from 20+ teams, needs to to receive them all and think them through. After he signs teams will go for Semin and the 2nd/3rd tier players when demand increases because they didn't get Parise.

I am just looking forward to how much Hudler will get for sitting on Filppula and Zetterberg's wing and capitalizing on about a third of the chances set up for him.

He's very overrated, but Tavares doesn't magically make you into a 67 point player. He's probably a 40-50 point guy with normal top 6 linemates, which he should have in CO. 4 mil is fairly standard for that.

Kind of hard to believe parise/suter will get a crosby/ovechkin-like contract, but I guess that's the state of free agency now.

Parise is my favourite player in the NHL. I would be beyond excited if the Leafs could land him, even at the ridiculous cost of 28 million in the next two years with an annual cap hit of 9 million for the following decade.
