Man, kind of depends on which side of the bed he wakes that morning. At the beginning of last season, he was really awful. Then he turned it around mid-season and became surprisingly solid. Absolutely zero physicality, but he is suprisingly mobile, one of the fastest blueliners out there. Fundamentally he does alright 1v1 as long as the guy's not huge, but he's kind of a space cadet at times and lets people cut behind him, etc.

TLDR; passable #6 defenseman.
