I don't think they'll improve that much either. They'll be a playoff bubble team but their best assets are still their prospects which are a few years away. Their forward depth still sucks.

In a few years though they'll be a force. Mummy has some amazing prospects to go along with players like Suter and Praise.

The meltdown on the Devils board is priceless. I dunno what's funnier, the people whining tampering, or the ones that think Semin is the answer to this.
Basically means buh-bye to Bouchard at the end of the year in Minnesota to maybe try and free up room for Backstrom.
Also looking at Minnesota on Capgeek, it's pretty bad when Bouchard has cost them roughly $12m in the past 3 years and has played enough games for a full season across all 3.

This is a laughably low offer for Semin, doubly so with what Parise just earned long term.

Also, Minnesota Heat? Parise going back to his hometown, and Suter returning to an area in which he had lived and played before is a bit of a different storyline than what happened with the Heat. There was no televised announcement, there was no guarantee of 7 championships, there was a 4 day decision which was remarkably private.
