I felt this was needed:

Yellow teeth make it that much more creepy.
Jets sign Al Montoya, could work out well as a backup.
Jets held off that signing til after Parise/Suter. It was that important LOL They were willing to move their 7th D down to back up goalie if they could swing Suter.
I'm sorry, this made me laugh.
Joslin signs with Vancouver
terms coming

Fucking Eklund, lol.
I was a little salty about Parise not coming to Pittsburgh because I have entitlement issues, but now I'm okay.

I'm eagerly anticipating where this is headed.

Red Wings, Rangers and Capitals all have over 15 mil in cap space. Seriously though whats left? They gonna all offer Carle 10 mil a year?
Jets sign Montoya for 1 year, 601k.
I'm fine with it.
hockey is in sort of a weird place right now, as far as contract structuring is going with the players. there's just not enough really elite level ones that actually deserve these top salaries. considering that hockey is the ultimate team sport I guess that's not completely that surprising but still
and it makes me think that elite goalies are across the board very under paid in this market
or do you guys think that the hockey middle class is just where a lot of this confusion is? there is not much that differentiates a 1.5 million dollar player from a 4-5 million dollar player
As far as D, I see Carle, Colaiacovo, Commodore, Scott Hannan, Rozsival, Colin White.
Centers, Arnott, Daymond Langkow, Dominic Moore (wow, nothing, lol)
Wingers, Semin, Brunette, Hagman, Huselius, Sturm, Doan, Kostitsyn, Langenbrunner, Sykora,
Really, Semin, Doan, Carle only high profile players left.
I could see the Canucks making an offer to maybe Arnott or Moore as third line centers. I still really want them to sign Doan but LeBrun is convinced he's going to LA which blows my mind.
Mote, there is too many teams and not enough talented players. The fact that the KHL is an option for players too has also thinned the pool a bit.
