I think its been mentioned twice, and for good reason.
Never played it, was it really that bad? lol What was wrong with it?
You can go phuck yoorshelf. For shushu. http://l-userpic.livejournal.com/85904413/18793334
it was like you were looking in from outside a snowglobe, the camera was zoomed so fucking far out half the time it was impossible to see what you were doing, you just mashed attack until something exploded. on top of a more nonsensical story than normal and boring combat, it was just awfully, awfully bad
More like devil may mash square from beginning to end. I swear the sword doesn't even exist in that game, you can just mash your guns til the end of the game.
Yeah I remember playing through it, you got dual sub machine guns at some point. I remember fighting the last boss, this big blob of like all the bosses or something, and just raping it with those + devil trigger version where you'd shoot rapid fire from your hands or something. Cheapened lots of the bosses.
I mentioned a few pages back that I rarely have any overhype-disappointments in gaming because I generally have a pretty good idea of what I'm getting into before I end up buying/playing a game.
FF8 was probably what taught me that lesson at the ripe age of like 14-15. I was expecting another exciting story and more likable characters. I got neither.
FF bitchfest go!
squall was a boss, that is all
Not Ito's best work imo >_> at least he tried for something different. A few tidbits worked.
Guess I'm one of the few that enjoyed FF8's story and gameplay. I choose to continue to believe in the Ultimecia = Rinoa theory because it makes the plot that much more epic. Gameplay was fun too in my opinion. Drawing while dull, was rewarded with some pretty bad ass junction setups. Until everything became "spam Aura, cycle through characters until Limit Break shows up" the battle-system I would say was above average.
Having nice music to Jersey Shore would not make Jersey shore all of a sudden watchable
