Mass effect 3 single player because of the fucking ending, I had 3 Shepards from ME2 I wanted to import and have them complete their journeys. It really shitted on the series and all the build up from the previous games.

Also Eternal Sonata, game is complete shit.

FFXIV on the top of my list
Uncharted 3: I was so hype for that, reviews made it sound perfect, and while it was awesome and no where deserved the reviews it got and I didn't think it was as epic as #2.
Dragon Age 2: So much potential and went for the most linear progression path possible
Fable 3: I enjoyed Fable 2 for what it was. Fable 3 was the biggest piece of shit and i almost didn't even finish it I found it to be so terrible

How the fuck did I forget this. The actually really challenging gameplay got completely overshadowed by the terrible plot, and that reveal midway is just...ugh.

I likes SO3 a lot due to gameplay and just ignored the what the fuck plot change right at the end of the game.

FFXIII and XIV are probably on the top of my list, to follow up with that;

Only reason I actually didn't list Uncharted 3 is because after rushing through the awesome that was Uncharted 2 in about 10 hours I felt the money I paid for Uncharted 2 was way too much (fuck the multi). It was a fun ride, but I knew I wasn't going to make the same mistake with Uncharted 3. So I got that when I could get it for less than half the original price. Didn't like it as much as Uncharted 2, but at least I didn't blew full price money on it.

Back when I was maybe 10 or 11, I helped parents and family do various little chores to save up enough money (£49.99) (or approximately $78 ) to buy Sonic 3. Obviously news for anything was scarce and rare then, no internet, etc. The comic I buy every 2 weeks, Sonic the Comic, hyped it up a bit, with bits of reviews, interviews and screenshots of what's to come.

Come beating the game in maybe 1 month, 3 of those weeks were stuck due to this god damn part (which I eventually got through by making sure I had a Water Shield as I got here so I can spam jump to get over the barrel):

I beat the game. Disappointed to find out you couldn't play Knuckles. I brought the Sonic 3 guide too which revealed a massive 50% of each zone I was never able to get to (only to find out they were meant for Knuckles).

Even more bummed out later as it turned out I had to buy the second half of the game, also for £49.99 ($78 ) to play the rest.

The lockon cartridge was worth it/fun. But the first half? Bleh, I could've waited.

The worst part about that part is how easy it is to get by. Took me forever but all you gotta do is hold down and up repeatedly to move the barrel (no jumping required) I KNOW RIGHT? THE RAAAAAAAAAAAGE

Skyward Sword

I liked Skyward Sword for what it did with motion controls. It had some really cool ideas for it, but I also knew after I finished the story (hell, even knew during the story) that I was never going to buy another motion control based Zelda. Shit just isn't for me.

Uncharted 3, which almost makes me cringe to say because I loved one and two. I really WANT to like 3 but it just feels like it totally felt short. All of the epic moments were given away in trailers, and the game itself wasn't as long as two. Was hoping for a really long adventure to wrap up the third. Still good, but nowhere near the hype it got.

Didn't expect 14 to do well, not surprised it didn't. I've never played it, had friends that bought it/played for a while, tried hard to find aught to do, only to get frustrated.

I actually got Sonic and Knuckles before 3, so it never fell short for me lol.

i never even got that far, the terrible voice acting and plot in the early game were enough to turn me off of the game. i might have sunk ten hours into the game before deciding i didn't care about it at all. still have no idea what happens later on that was so universally reviled, but i don't think i've heard a single good thing about how they did the overall story in that game, haha.

For me it was Assasins Creed, I got it right before 2 came out so I could beat it before the other came out. FFXIV as well >.<

Not having a lot of time, and having a lot of friends who game I fortunately don't purchase too many games that aren't good... :-/ because I don't have time to play the games I do have.
