Diablo 3 Leaked 1.0.3 Patch Notes

Really odd how inconsistent it is... I was a digital download (with no other Blizzard games to my name) and I didn't have a problem with my characters or followers.

I have read that changing just about anything on your battle.net account, effectively refreshing it, will make Diablo 3 snap out of assuming you have a free account.

bought a retail copy but installed the files from the digital prerelease. not having probs with any of my xp or followers as far as I can tell.

This patch...idk. I still hold hope that D3 will end up an awesome game sometime down the road. As it is it's too repetitive, but it's still fun to play for the simple fact that zapping hordes of mobs never changes from game to game, it's always an empty pointless way to spend an afternoon/evening (unless you're making money off the RMAH, then it at least pays okay).

On the bright side, next patch can't possibly suck this much, right?

So after farming some more Act 3, I'm noticing I'm getting far more Hell Quality essences despite getting more rares. The quality of drops is definitely lower post patch.

Isn't it a simple iLvl check? iLvl > 60 = inferno mats? I've just been NPCing any iLvl60 and under.

Not denying the quality of drops went down, just curious why you're salvaging stuff for hell ingredients.

Cause it's easier to just Salvage my entire inventory than it is to run to the other vendor and sell items.

Daily reminder: Blizzard has 10 years of D2 data to make a decent game. They still manage to make it suck dick.

Remember that time Blizzard didn't actually make Diablo 2 and it was Blizzard North who was fired, yeah me too.

Farmed some more and I'm definitely getting worst drops. Severely worst. So bad that it isn't even worth my time playing anymore.

This thread basically covers it. If any of you farmed Act 3-4 pre-patch you've probably noticed the shitty loot rate as well. The only way to make money reliably now is to craft Exalted Grand Plans and those recipes are selling for 20mil now, lol (Gloves anyways, but thats where the REAL money is). Just waiting for the inevitable crafting Hotfix now.

Seriously, just stop playing the game and craft all day- you'll make bank.

I need to try my hand at crafting more of the Exhaulted Grand body peices.. so far havent had much luck outside of ok stuff.

Lol I always find a way to adapt. It's just that I've come to expect Blizzard to nerf the shit out of every decent method of farming until the game is something akin to FFXI.

1 for 900k
and about 3 more to sell for 50-100k

These sold within 2 hours. I'm sure hardcore is fun. I'm sure the bullshit deaths and lag deaths are also fun. But I play D3 to gamble. Once that's down the drain, I'm done with the game.

P.S. I don't feel like doing the math but this is just proof of concept. I practice what I preach. I'm not gonna drop 20m for a recipe tho, but you shouldn't have any problem making a profit off 'Fine' items.

I called them handling everything with precision of a sledge hammer. I all I have to do is remember death knight from WoW and I know that blizzard has no fucking clue how to balance anything.

It's okay, I knew once the WoW team got their hands on D3 many things would happen.

-Would be the most cookie cutter Diablo thus far. -Check
-Would be balanced based on the RMAH economy. -Check
-Would be treated more like an MMO than ARPG. -Check
-Would be casualized and be reduced to a shop fest. -Check

Let's face it- Diablo 3 is an experiment in cash grabbing that will feed every free to play game going forward. It's the way of the world.

I had fun. Launch and the couple weeks after that were awesome. My friends and I played Inferno legit, we farmed for days in Act 1, shared drops, then got to Act 2 and hit a gigantic wall. My friends gave up, but I persisted and resorted to all the cheap tricks and brokeness DH could muster and completed it solo then proceeded to farm the shit out of the game and got geared up. I even began to share my Act 3 loot with my friends so they could progress too. Then the nerf hammers came and I began to have less and less fun. Friends began to quit. So, now I have no fun and just want to make money while the game is still ripe for the picking, but I can easily tell that based on the damage control being done with these constant overnerfs that the economy is already ruined.

Well played Blizzard! You ruined one of the greatest franchises in gaming history in the name of the almighty dollar. The game feels sluggish now after the ASPD nerf, the drops suck, and now not only are the elites really gay and annoying to fight; but the bosses too!



P.S. PSO2 JP Open Beta is really awesome. This is how you ARPG.

In the end of the day, I come out with about an extra grand in my pocket for enjoying D3. Not a bad trade off.
