Are all of you callous pieces of shit as miserably worthless as your dismissive posts imply? Does it bother you that there are people out there who aren't hopelessly jaded, and who therefore do expect kindness from their fellow man? Are you disappointed that they aren't as inhuman and tough as you, as if your unfeeling behavior were a virtue?

Whether this video were true or not does not matter, so long as your reactions to the example are genuine. Considering, let this be known: you're garbage. And don't cry to me about hypocrisy through my calling you out as much, because you can take it, can't you? Further, I'd not be disrespectful of someone who's done nothing to deserve my ire; I'll wholeheartedly be disrespectful of unfeeling trash like you. You accept that you're for the continued dehumanization of our species, as you consider it the norm. Politeness and respect are simply so yesterday, and utterly indefensible.

This crap again? You can't expect everyone to feel an empathic connection to someone they see for the very first time. If you think that apathy towards a woman being bullied by kids is such an inexcusable crime, what about those who suffer far worse forms of humiliation -or worse- every day? Just because they're not put on Youtube it doesn't mean they don't exist.

In the right doses apathy is a useful thing. It lets you live your life without being crippled by the thought that people somewhere else are constantly suffering and forces said people to toughen up and defend themselves (which this woman has failed to do).

What these kids did is awful but no amount of internet outrage is going to change what happened. They'll realize their mistakes, grow up and possibly be more successful in life than you and there's nothing you can do about it.
So, what are you going to do now? Move on with your life or call others out because they're apathetic to this situation?

You don't need to be empathetic to realize that what these kids did was retarded and that you shouldn't justify it with "toughen up" attitude. No one is saying you should cry for the old lady, but acting like it's ok to do this is insanely dumb and will just help breed future idiots who don't know how to act respectful towards others.

Edit: To everyone that's upset at how "toughguy" some of BG's posters are acting, can you really feign surprise? BG has been acting "toughguy" since the forums were erected. Whether it was the constant "umads" through all the XI drama threads or anything else, trolling and acting tough is the norm.

Thankfully for this woman, not everyone out there is a troll, and she's seeing support from people all over. This is such a stupid issue, but that's the generation we live in. srs interweb toughguys posting here...old lady got verbally abused by a horde of 12 year old idiot kids and she was pretty much powerless to do anything about it because if she did, the parents would turn it against her going "my children are angels they never do this, they're perfect" and she gets fired from her job and ultimately quite possibly sued. If you're all so tough, please enlighten us, what exactly would you do?

I think its time for all these child protection laws to be eased up a bit because children these days are REALLY getting out of fucking hand. If you think this is an isolated incident, you're high on something, this one just happened to get public.

some friends and I were discussing what we would do if they were our children as punishment for this. what would everyone else see as a fitting punishment for this?

mine:

1. Make my kid apologize to Karen in person, make sure I'm there to witness it to assure they understand how serious this is and make certain the apology is sincere.
2. Some type of facebook/social networking related action like we've seen in other similar cases letting all of their social networking friends know how poorly they screwed up admitting they were involved and apologizing to the world for being so cruel. Then of course take access to said social networking account away.
3. Scare the living piss out of my kid and demand he give me the names of every person in the video.
4. Go to the houses of the parents involved and sit them down making them watch the entire video so they can understand everything that their kid said.. make them listen to it in it's entirety.
5. Take my son to the busiest street in our City on a Saturday and have them hold a sign letting everyone know that it was him from the bus monitor bully video and that he is an ungrateful cruel brat. Let him stay there for half a day so people can come up to him and provide insight about bullying and let them know what they thought about what he did. I would also bring him to school early one day and as all the kids arrive have him hold the same sign so all the parents dropping off their children could see it was him.
