    Fairly easy from context.

    Oldest D? Son, Oldest D? Daughter, Youngest D? Daughter, etc

    Middle D dont know but the abbreviations seem to be a form of phoneticism, they indicate comparitive age and gender. YO is always youngest, DD# is middle child with no gender attribute, ODS/ODD/YDD/YDS already explained.

    Oh my bad, middle D is probably dearest, last D for double D's are dearest daughters, DD#s are daughters in order.

    and ty numbers. I THINK the middle D might mean dearest?

    I see DH a lot and I think it means dearest husband which then could translate to dearest daughter or something.
