1. How do you plan on handling the lag that will accompany the release of the new town?
2. How will the new town link with older towns in terms of transportation and ease of shouting for members?
Has Square been attempting to increase the PS2HDD size for a long while now, or was it a simple and fast change?
EU never got FFXI PS2 nor did we ever get the official hard-drive so it really it would only be the US that being said:
1) Awhile back you had the player base complete a survey on which platform they play on. Will the results ever see the light of day or could you even give us any insight into how the player base is split platform wise?
2) Wings of the Goddess had a 4 year life cycle, will SoA will a similar life cycle or something more reasonable such as Abyssea or ToA?
Are there any plans to release another piece of storage to alleviate inventory issues? such as the mog sack and satchel.
are there plans for more server mergers, and if so, how is it decided which server gets to maintain its names?
None have been announced.
Can you please support PS3?![]()
I could live with PS2 support dropped if they, not redo from the ground up, but do one of those http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-de...ation_consoles for FFXI. Even if it's just a bump up to PC level graphics, but mostly done to let them use the better hardware.
i'd be ok with dropping ps2 support if they bring it to PSVita/PS3 ala FFX HD remaster.
basically what Cantih said
At this point though, playing on any of the console or future handhelds is still very limiting compared to the PC experience. I can't see myself going back to Xbox or PS2/3 after I've started on the PC.
And they didn't answer any forum questions from anyone yesterday. Sad now.
