Getting concerned about future seasons though, unless Sorkin starts making stuff up. Because they are flying through the years. Didn't this season start in 2010 and now its already 1/2 way through '11 nearly?
I was thinking the same thing, as of Sunday night they're at 5/01/2011 and seem to be jumping months in between eps. So does that mean by the end of the season we'll be hitting 2012 news and by that in the second season would they just become a real news show?! (I'd be ok with that...)
That was such a good episode. I like how the IT guys girlfriend responded to the news "Am I supposed to be happy?"
As long as they slow the pace I don't think it will be a problem. They can just use the season they're filming to cover the previous year.
I expect next season to be heavy on the presidential race that will have passed by the time season 2 goes
well so far they havent spent more than a single episode on any one new event. you would think they could get a bunch out of occupy movement. should be interesting. it looks like they are gearing up for a rupert murdoch esque situation which will def fill some time.
Yeah, the Tea Party episode zoomed through a couple months, but otherwise they've been limited to about a week at most.
Now I watch the news thinking about how the episode is gonna be in a year -- Aurora and Sikh shootings will probably get the treatment, and the Republican primaries are going to be a lot of fun. AW SHUCKY DUCKY NAW
I also expect more filler episodes that are heavy on personal lives and light on news. Not sure that would be considered a filler episode either though since the real life stories are what drive the show most of the time
If they are 10 episode seasons they could easily do a flashback episode to Mac's time while captive or to the original pairing of Mac and Will and such. I think they're already going to do some of that with mac's ex coming into play these final episodes.
I'm still getting used to= http://wac.450f.edgecastcdn.net/8045...l-newsroom.jpg

lisa is so hot, this episode really confirmed it for me
Holy fuck, I knew I recognized her somewhere.
olivia munn is soooooooooooo awesome hahaha
I kinda wish the blackout hadn't been given away by the episode title. It would've been an even funnier surprise.
No love rhombus (stealing that) this episode made it so much better. Although, Lisa is fucking hot so I wouldn't mind seeing more of her.
watching this episode again, charlie is so awesome, especially in the library when he thinks the white guy is the informant lololol
The episode was good. But it's gonna be pretty unbelievable if they're able to somehow get the debate, keep ratings up, and discredit Reese and TMI all in two episodes.
im betting they dont get the debate, which causes all kinds of drama cuz they caved in last episode
Pretty sure I am in love with Olivia Munn (hope my girlfriend doesn't see that!). Seriously though, really loving this show and starting to like Don more and more as a character.
