Well I was able to finally play for a while today. I was spawned just outside the airfield near Charnus(sp?) I was able to make my way to an army base and pick up an AK74 and some ammo. But I fell off one of the guard towers and now have a broken leg. I had to use my AK to kill the two zombies that saw me, then use it to kill the rest of the zombies that came after me as a result of the gunfire. Crawled up to another watchtower and logged out. I have no painkillers so it's almost impossible to see. I had enough bandages to stop the bleeding, but I don't think I'm long for this world. Is it possible to fix a broken limb? Or are you basically fucked?

edit: OK I'm in but I seem to have lost my AKM and Blood packs I looted from the Firehouse in Elektro... plus I'm at the beach... I went and hid in the farmhouse by the dam for now.

What are some things I should be looking for? Is a crossbow better than guns or are bolts hard to come by?

Hatchet, matches, hunting knife, compass, a couple water bottles, a 16+ slot backpack, and the best guns you can find for the moment.

When I find this stuff I'm ready to go pretty much anywhere.

Edit-Forgot about medical stuff. 2-3 bandages, 2-3 morphine, 1-2 epi pen, 1-2 blood bag, 1-2 pain killers. I think that's it.

dont use the crossbow. bolts each take up a slot per shot. try to find a quiet gun. pistols are gonnna be useless once zombies sprint inside.

when youre farming valuable spots pick up everything and make a junk pile in a corner where nothing spawns. that way new stuff spawns.
