I was there earlier, still sleeping in the barn contemplating my next step and whether to return to the firehouse or not.

The only weapon I have is an Enfield...should I grab a Winchester instead?

The Enfield is great for killing other players, one shot will pretty much down anyone. The Winchester is way quieter and packs less of a punch, and is okay against zombies.

Well, that car didn't last much longer. They found me. Had to abandon ship in the middle of Novy Sobor.

I can see why the server is always empty, if that's the tactics they use when they run into anyone...

spent the last few hours on US1911, if you can make it to the air strip (the one near the 4 deer stands on the dayzdb.com/map), and go up into the control tower, i just dropped an M4A1 with ammo, and there's a *loud* military sniper rifle on the top of the tower. also, the small shed next to the 2nd hangar has a shitload of shotgun ammo that I hoarded up, and in the first hangar (nearest to the control tower) has a lot of pistol/G17 ammo that I also hoarded up

Man, found a deer stand with an AKM... DC'd, lost the AKM and was stuck with the Enfield again... went down to the gas station nearby and found nothing... tried to go to another one using a map (haven't found one yet) and found a water bottle... now I'm lost and found Rok again and logged there. I have physics to do.

It's really easy to lose your bearings w/o a compass. Glad I haven't come across anyone, I'm worried they'll shoot me. :/

edit: Any way to add server as a favorite through SixLauncher?

You can use DayZ Commander and add a favorite. The interface and search functions are infinitely better than SixLauncher also.

You can even add friends and see what server they're on. Not sure how that works though.

edit: Somebody named element be haxing on the server.

can't connect to 1378 anymore, bad version

i like US1911, it's up to date and never has more than 4-5 players on it, and I get super low ping as well (~14ish)

Just started a fresh spawn on 2287 if anyone wants to join up. Server loaded up incredibly quickly as well. Might have found my new home server.
