That is awesome.

This is the only game without any end goal I've ever enjoyed, and now I'm slowly getting my friends into it. Its a blast doing another nighttime elektro raid every time a new friend starts to break them in, hearing them talk nervously when gunshots ring out in the streets.

finally got some time with this last night, 3 hours passed in what seemed like 10 minutes. holy fuck @ the immersion level and it only being an alpha. my friend also met up with me east of elektro, within 20 minutes i had an AK from a deer stand which i guess is lucky, next thing i know we're creeping up on elektro and he gets sniped from somewhere down there and zombies are all over me. i got away but i was hurt, so i'm logged out with the screen shaking scared as shit and lying in bushes on a hill somewhere. so awesome. haha

Welp. Tried taking two snipers with my Makarov picking off people near the town spawn. That didn't turn out too well.

The link a few pages back about installing this said I could just get the free version of Arma and then the expansion. Money is tight right now so am leaning towards just getting the expansion obviously but want to make sure that everything will be fully functional and shit.

Anybody doing it with the free version and Operation arrowhead have any problems or everything working smoothly?
