You do not lose anything anymore when you switch nations back and forth (you used to lose all Conquest Points and all Warp Points, but that's not the case anymore).
It's just that Conquest Points and Outpost Warp Points are "nation specific". The fact you have 100k Points in Batok and 15 Outpost Warps unlocked for Bastok, doesn't mean you'll have the same after you swap to Sandy or Windy. As a matter of fact, you won't.
You will also have to be rank6+ to buy the chairs and you'll have to farm CPs in each different nation.
Altough if you don't want to farm you can convert AMAN copper vouchers into CPs, after you've switched.

If I'm not mistaken, what you said no longer applies to outposts. While Conquest Points remain tied to the nation you earned them for, outposts are now multi-national. Basically, you could start in Windurst, unlock a few outposts, switch to Bastok and unlock Gustaberg and then switch back to Windurst and you'd have Gustaberg unlocked. I'm fairly sure that's how I did it.

What I'm sure of is that you do not lose them anymore.
Previously (long ago) if you swapped from Bastok to Sandy and then back to Bastok, you would find yourself at zero outposts unlocked no matter how many Bastok ones you had before the switch.
This got changed eons ago and I can testify that at least if you go back, you'll find all of them.

What you said might also be true though, I seem to recall reading something about it in the patch notes.
I also seem to recall them changing outpost missions so that you can do them regardless of the nation who's currently controlling the outpost (previously you could only do missions for the outposts currently controlled by your own nation, which made getting some quite tricky)

Totally random question (I still miss that thread). I seem to remember years ago there was a way to dump a characters inventory to a text file. I tried the windower forums and couldn't find anything that looked like it did what I was looking for. Any ideas or am I just crazy?

So I hopped aboard the beastwagon, and found out familiars get auto-dismissed upon entering Salvage unlike other pets. Any other events/zones that do this (besides lvl cap stuff) so I know not to waste Bestial Loyalty?

Anything that makes you enter a new zone.

The only stuff that keeps your pet are ones that just physically move your character to a battlefield, and ones that put you into combat status.

Battlefields: BCNMs/KSNMs/Einherjar/etc
Battle status: Voidwatch, Escha, Unity, etc.

Not sure about the thing you had in mind, but I was bored so I threw together a new one for you.

Just unzip, open, select character(if more than one), and click create file. Files are created in the same folder you put it in. If the format's not suitable, it's only a few seconds to change it.

Many hours is an understatement lol. The longest I've recorded one lasting before I had to do something to take it off was over 40 hours.... so I think it's probably just forever

In the past I know they have wore off after 3 hours but I also have had some last more than a day while I afk'd in mog house. Not sure if it changed at some point or if its somehow random.

Also I believe the keeping outposts when you switched nations was changed in the last year.

Your bond with Arciela is dependent on your answers to multiple choice questions during the mission line. For example, at one point, the game asks you to look at something on Arciela. The cutscene only proceeds if you look at her sword, but one of the other options is to look at her breasts, which will lower your affection with her.
